When Romina booked me in for a maternity photo shoot in Richmond, it seemed perfectly natural to use the iconic ‘Turner’s View’ as the backdrop with sweeping views towards Petersham, Twickenham and South West London in the horizon. Romina, her husband Eugenio, and their lovely three year old son Ermanno, live within a stone’s throw of this amazing scenery. This was an ideal location to celebrate Romina’s third trimester of pregnancy captured through my lens.
Eugenio relocated from Italy to London for work purposes back in 2014. Romina visited him regularly until she permanently relocated during 2017. Little Ermanno was also born during the autumn of that year. They chose Richmond as their hometown due to the easy access to the city but the peace and tranquility this area offers through the abundance of outdoor spaces, including the largest park in London.
After capturing these fleeting special moments, we descended down to the fabulous Terrace Gardens to finish off our photo session.
